A Life in Music
I began learning the piano at the age of seven and achieved my Grade 8 ABRSM qualification by the age of sixteen. I have since completed both my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance. I have performed in masterclasses with internationally renowned pianists, including Pascal Rogé, Leslie Howard, Can Çakmur, Inna Faliks and Mikhail Kazakevich.
I teach because I believe that a genuine passion for music is the foundation of meaningful progress. When students enjoy making music, practice becomes rewarding rather than a chore.
For over eight years, I have provided personalised one to one piano tuition across a number of schools and currently at the Vineyard School in Richmond, helping students of all ages and abilities, from complete beginners to advanced pianists, developing strong technique, confidence and a lasting appreciation for music.

Over the last year she has gained confidence in her ability to sight read, play through music she loves and was able to complete her grade 1 exam with a distinction. Amit is a very patient and encouraging teacher who makes the lessons exciting and memorable. He has a great ability to tailor his lessons according to the students ability and level. I am very proud that Lilly has him as a teacher.
